How is Hair on Hide Leather Cleaned?
Very easily! It should be cleaned regularly. It’s perfectly safe to use a vacuum cleaner. It’s easiest and safest to use the hose attachments. Always, and I mean always vacuum in the direction of the hair. Cleaning your hide regularly will prevent dirt and stains from building up.
Brushing
You should also brush your hair on hide. Brushing also helps to keep the hide clean and looking as good as new. You can use any broom or brush with plastic bristles. And again, always brush in the direction of the hair.
Removing Liquid Spills and Stains
If a spill should occur, quickly use a towel/sponge to soak it up. Use a dabbing motion and absorb the spill with the towel. Do not wipe, it can cause damage to the hair on hide. Instead blot and dab to soak up the spill.
If you need to remove a stain do not use harsh chemicals, alkaline soaps or shampoos. Use soapy water and a damp white cloth, and gently scrub the stain in the direction of the hair. The cloth only needs to be damp. Do not use a soaking wet cloth because you will damage the hide.

If you prefer to place an order over the phone you will need to provide me with your Name, Email Address, and Fabric Number (ex. HOH001 Black White). Shortly thereafter, you will receive an invoice to the email address you provided. Once the invoice has been paid, we will send 2 or more pictures of hides that we have available. After you have selected the hide you like best, we will place the order for the specific hide you have selected, and it will ship to you in 7 – 10 business days.
